When Larry Stifler and Mary McFadden went on their first date, Larry shared his intentions to one day start a foundation. Years later, in 2001, the Stifler Family Foundation was established to support nonprofit organizations dedicated to land conservation, education, science, social justice and the arts. Philanthropy is a part of the entire family’s DNA as they truly believe in the impact of helping and empowering others in a multitude of ways. The inspiration for where the Stifler Family Foundation focuses their attention on most, may be summarized by Larry’s words, “Find what you are passionate about and start there; share your time, talents and resources to help others.”
From mountain tops to bodies of water to gem museums, we have been fortunate to experience several touchpoints of the Stifler Family Foundation’s impact and help spread the messages of all the amazing work that is being done. Through these films, we are also aiming to highlight the legacy of Mary and Larry so that future generations can better understand and appreciate how the foundation began, as well as how the core values will continue to play a role in the future.
